Production Water Treatment
OVERVIEW
  • Produced water separation and treatment

Oil production water is a multiphase liquid that is extracted from the formation along with crude oil and formed through the primary processing process such as demulsification. Its contents are highly harmful to the reservoir with corrosive and has a certain scaling property. Therefore, oil production wastewater must be treated before it can be reinjected.
We have developed an independent process based on the characteristics of specific production water, taking into account the flocculation, anti-corrosion, anti-scaling, sterilization and reservoir protection, and treating it in a comprehensive way by physical and chemical methods. It avoids the shortcomings of mutual influence and mutual restriction between reagents in the separate treatment links, and ensures the final water treatment effect.

  • Production water reinjection

Water use is an inseparable part of oil and gas production. water can be injected into hydrocarbon reservoirs as a secondary flood, be combined with chemicals like surfactants and polymers in Enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and plays a crucial role in hydraulic fracturing and the generation of steam for SAGD processes.

Reinjecting treated oil production wastewater into deeper strata is an important way to reduce environmental pollution and ensure sustainable development of oil fields.

In view of the characteristics of produced water such as high oil content, complex composition, high mineralization, high water temperature, high corrosiveness, or in sense of radioactivity.

We have designed a complete set of equipment, pumping units, pipelines, storage tanks, automatic mornitoring systems, etc., which can automatically complete the injection of the designed formation according to the design pressure or water volume with minimal personnel.
